The Arthritis Society’s research program is grounded on our goal of finding the causes and cures of arthritis and to promote the best possible treatments and care of those with arthritis. Most importantly, transparency, fairness and accountability remain priorities in our research strategy and programs. Panel membership
Review panels are composed for specific competitions and membership will depend on the expertise needed. Please select the appropriate competition for current information on panel composition.
Note: For competitions with an LOI stage - panels may be reduced between stages depending on expertise required to review the full applications. Panel members participating in the LOI review only will be marked with an *.
Peer Reviewers
If you would like to volunteer on a peer review panel, please complete the form. Please note that we recruit both scientific and consumer (lay) reviewers. Submission of the form does not guarantee participation on a panel.
Patient engagement support to grantees
The Arthritis Society is happy to support researchers disseminate their research outcomes (email research@arthritis.ca with publication updates) and support study recruitment when possible. It is important to note the Arthritis Society does not recruit volunteers directly for clinical trials.
