Fundraising Activities

  • Q: I received a phone call asking for a donation. Was this legitimate?

A: If you received a phone call from Engage Interactive on behalf of the Arthritis Society, this is a legitimate fundraising call.

Your contributions are so important in making a difference in the lives of people living with arthritis. We rely on your donations to continue our progress toward finding the causes of and cure for arthritis, and to provide the best possible treatment and care for those living with arthritis today.

That’s why the Arthritis Society has partnered with Engage Interactive for over a decade to reach out to our community to fundraise over the phone. We work closely with Engage Interactive to ensure they are ready to contact our community when needed, and to ensure that callers are knowledgeable about the Arthritis Society and represent the values of our organization.

If you have any questions or concerns about our telemarketing activity, please contact our Donor Services team at: 1-855-834-4427.

  • Q. A door-to-door canvasser asked me for a donation. Was this legitimate?

A: At this time, the Arthritis Society has stopped its door-to-door canvassing program. If someone approaches you at home asking for a donation on behalf of the Arthritis Society, please do not make a donation and do not provide your personal information. We also encourage you to call our Donor Services at the number listed below to report the unauthorized activity.
