Arthritis research conference: Register to learn about exciting work underway

Arthritis researchers and arthritis advocates from across Canada will be gathering virtually at the fourth annual Canadian Arthritis Research Conference (CARC) on Feb. 15 and 16, 2023 to discuss exciting new research underway.

People living with arthritis – and people who care for them – are encouraged to register for the opportunity to engage with researchers, clinicians and each other while they learn. There is a limited number of complimentary tickets available on a first come first serve basis for patient partners.

Co-presented by Arthritis Society Canada, the Canadian Rheumatology Association and the Canadian Institutes of Health – Institute for Musculoskeletal Health Research, CARC 2023 will feature presentations on the theme of arthritis across the lifespan. Presenters will discuss the latest knowledge about both osteoarthritis as well as autoimmune and inflammatory forms of arthritis.

“CARC is a platform for both arthritis research leaders and people with lived experience with the disease,” says Dr. Sian Bevan, Chief Science Officer at Arthritis Society Canada. “It’s a great opportunity to learn, network and get a deeper understanding of the exciting progress and innovations on the horizon.”

Contact IMHA-IALA@cihr-irsc.gc.ca to inquire about a complimentary ticket to attend.
