Canadian Arthritis Research Conference: Research with Impact

On February 15 and 16, 2023, Arthritis Society Canada, Canadian Rheumatology Association (CRA), and Canadian Institutes of Health Research-Institute for Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis (CIHR-IMHA) virtually co-hosted the fourth annual Canadian Arthritis Research Conference (CARC).

The conference featured a range of presentations, discussions, and networking opportunities with experts, researchers, patient partners, and emerging leaders from the arthritis community.

Since 2020, CARC has provided a unique platform for the arthritis research communities from across Canada to collaborate and share learnings among clinicians, scientists, patients and stakeholders nationally and internationally. There are networking opportunities for all levels of trainees and researchers (clinical fellows and MSc/PhD/Postdoc/Medical Residents/etc.) to present and engage with consumers, researchers, clinicians, and other experts in the field. This conference (and its predecessor, the CAN Meetings of the early 2000s) have traditionally been well attended by rehabilitation researchers, other clinicians, basic scientists, patient partners, and health systems researchers.

Stay tuned for the dates and format of CARC 2024!
