The start of a new year brings optimism and excitement. At Arthritis Society Canada, we’re channeling this energy into helping the six million people in Canada living with arthritis.

Increasing the odds of success

One such researcher is Dr. Guangju Zhai. His research explores whether an amino acid supplement could promote successful joint replacement surgeries for people living with osteoarthritis, the most common form of the disease. This holds great potential for patients who need such procedures and would reduce the strain on our healthcare system.
