Jason McDougallDr. Michelle Teo obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Calgary. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency training and her rheumatology training at the University of Alberta. Currently, Dr. Teo runs a busy rheumatology practice in Penticton, B.C. along with her dedicated rheumatology nurses. She is a Clinical Instructor at the University of British Columbia and a Clinical Consultant at the Penticton Regional Hospital. She is actively involved with physician quality improvement projects with Interior Health and is a board member of the Canadian Rheumatology Association and the British Columbia Society of Rheumatologists. Dr. Teo has a special interest in improving rheumatology access and care. She uses her own practice to implement innovative models of care, which involves an interdisciplinary approach. She also enjoys the many opportunities to be involved in the rheumatology community on a local, provincial and national level. She is seldom shy to start a lively discussion!
