Adalimumab is used to treat inflammatory types of arthritis, such as rheumatoid arthritis (RA), psoriatic arthritis (PsA), juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), and ankylosing spondylitis (AS). It works by blocking TNF-α which triggers inflammation. It can help suppress an overactive immune system but can also increase your risk of infections. Abatacept

Abatacept is a medication that treats conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis by blocking a type of immune cell called a T-cell from damaging your joints. It can help suppress an overactive immune system, but can also increase your risk for certain infections.
