That’s why we’ve launched an Ease of Use Program with partners and manufacturers whose products and packaging meet the standards that earn them the Ease of Use seal of approval.

The AMGEVITA® single-use SureClick® autoinjector has been certified for Ease of Use by The Arthritis Society Canada. The SureClick® can be used for self-injection after receiving proper training from a physician.
The SureClick® injects a single dose of AMGEVITA® with one push of the blue start button and has a window that will turn yellow to signify the injection is complete. It also has a yellow safety guard that covers the needle before and after use.

ATECTURA® BREEZHALER® (indacaterol/mometasone furoate) is a combination of a LABA and an ICS indicated as a once-daily maintenance treatment of asthma in adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older with reversible obstructive airways disease.
Fresenius Kabi Canada: IDACIO® is available in a single-dose Auto-injector, which has been certified by Arthritis Society Canada for Ease of Use since 2021. IDACIO® is supplied in a box containing two prefilled latex-free pens. Each single use, disposable auto-injector is designed to enable self-injection of an entire single dose of drug product from a pre-filled glass syringe with 29-gauge/5 bevel 12mm thin wall attached needle. The IDACIO® Auto-injector is a pen-like device with a grey body, transparent syringe housing and yellow injection button. ENERZAIR® BREEZHALER® (indacaterol/glycopyrronium/mometasone furoate) is indicated as a maintenance treatment of asthma in adult patients not adequately controlled with a maintenance combination of a LABA and a medium or high dose of an ICS who experienced one or more asthma exacerbations in the previous 12 months.
INSPIOLTO RESPIMAT is available in the RESPIMAT inhaler, which has been certified by The Arthritis Society for Ease of Use. INSPIOLTO RESPIMAT Inhalation Spray is supplied in a labeled carton containing one INSPIOLTO RESPIMAT cartridge and one INSPIOLTO RESPIMAT inhaler. The INSPIOLTO RESPIMAT cartridge is provided as an aluminum cylinder with a tamper protection seal on the cap. The INSPIOLTO RESPIMAT cartridge is only intended for use with the INSPIOLTO RESPIMAT inhaler and should not be interchanged with any other RESPIMAT device delivered product. The INSPIOLTO RESPIMAT inhaler is a cylindrical shaped plastic inhalation device with a gray colored body and a clear base. The clear base is removed to insert the cartridge. The inhaler contains a dose indicator. The light green-colored cap and the written information on the label of the gray inhaler body indicate that it is labeled for use with the INSPIOLTO RESPIMAT cartridge. SoloPill acetaminophen dispensers are devices fitted with an internationally patented mechanism, which release a single tablet at a time with a light push of the palm of the hand, hygienically and without effort or pain. The three models match the three main types of acetaminophen tablets.

RINVOQ® (upadacitinib) has been certified for Ease of Use by Arthritis Society Canada. With the easy-to-open RINVOQ® bottle, the packaging is thoughtfully designed to improve ease of use for patients including a wide profile with easy-grip texture and an embedded tool to seamlessly puncture the foil liner. RINVOQ® (upadacitinib) is indicated for the treatment of adults with moderately to severely active rheumatoid, Psoriatic Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis and Atopic Dermatitis.
Simlandi autoinjector has been developed to facilitate the patient injection experience. This intuitive 2-step activation (no push button), state-of-art auto-injector with its soft rubber grip was ergonomically designed for patients with dexterity impairment in mind. The easy to remove cap, retractable needle and latex-free device make this auto-injector easy to activate, intuitive for patients, and brings a more confident injection.
Tremfya One-Press patient-controlled injector is ergonomically designed to facilitate use and allows the patient to inject at their own speed. The injector’s design offers a contoured handle for ease of use, a window for visual inspection of medication, an audible click indicating the injection is complete and a locking needle guard hiding the needle from view.
