Fund-A-Need
Fire BallTM Vancouver will host a thrilling Fund-A-Need opportunity as part of the evening’s programming to support better health outcomes for women and children with arthritis. Arthritis doesn’t play fair – it affects women and men differently. 1 in 4 women live with the disease, compared to 1 in 6 men. Women with arthritis report higher levels of sleep difficulties, stress, disability and depression compared to men with arthritis.
Arthritis also robs young people of their childhood. In Canada, over 25,000 children and adolescents grapple with the challenges of arthritis.
By dedicating resources to the unique needs of women and children, we will revolutionize their arthritis diagnosis and treatment. Consider the transformative impact your support can have — together, we can eradicate hip dysplasia in babies, advance maternal, neonatal and child health outcomes, and ensure that care is tailored to the needs of diverse women.
