In this video, certified yoga instructor and chair yoga instructor for arthritis, Julia McNally (The RA Yogi), guides participants through a seated and standing warrior series. As an RA Warrior herself, Julia knows how important it is to consider each participant’s energy level and abilities. With this in mind, Julia hopes to empower her students through this series and help them gain the confidence they need to move the way they want to. Participants have the option to remain seated during the entire session if they choose to.

Before starting any new exercise program, it’s important to speak with your doctor to make sure it’s safe for you. Everyone will have a different level of ability, so some exercises might not be appropriate for all. Go slowly to determine what’s right for your body. With practice, physical activity and exercise will get easier over time.
