HealthPartners: Investing in health through workplace giving
September is a time when you may be considering which charities to support through your workplace giving program for the upcoming year. HealthPartners is a unique collaboration of 16 of Canada’s best known national health charities and the Arthritis Society is proud to be a part of it!
87% of Canadians are expected to be affected by a chronic disease or major illness in their lifetime. Through HealthPartners you can make an investment in life-saving medical research and treatments in a way that is both convenient and cost-effective. The program also supports donor choice, so you can choose to support the Arthritis Society directly through your payroll deductions and spread your donation out through the year. (Make sure to specify the Arthritis Society Charitable Registration Number 10807 1671 RR0003)
Additionally, if you are an employee of the Government of Canada, you can participate in the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign (GCWCC), one of the largest and most successful workplace fundraising campaigns in Canada. Canada’s federal public servants and retirees have made a measurable difference on the impact of chronic disease through workplace charitable giving.
