Registration Update: We look forward to welcoming our campers back to our 4-night, 5-day overnight camp this summer! We continue to closely monitor provincial health guidelines for summer camps and will make adjustments to our plans based on government recommendations, always keeping the safety of our camps as our top priority. Phase 1 of registration for our Quebec camp will open February 4, 2026.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, there is no charge to attend camp. However space is limited and certain eligibility requirements apply.

Camp will run from Tuesday, June 23 – June 27, 2026.

  • Arthritis Society Canada notifies campers that they have either been conditionally accepted to attend Kids on the Move Camp or have been placed on the waitlist

For the 4500 young people in Quebec living with arthritis, pain, physiotherapy, constant medication and isolation caused by their disease represent a major part of their everyday life, including during summer holidays. To help these kids create unforgettable summer memories, Arthritis Society Canada, in collaboration with its invaluable partners and rheumatology clinics, offers them the chance to participate in Kids on the Move Camp, run specifically for children living with rheumatic diseases.

Everything about camp is adapted to these kids’ specific needs including the activities, programming and medical care. Camp is designed to allow our campers to live out summer camp experience at its best – to flourish, to gain self-confidence and, to connect with other children and teens in similar circumstances.

Each year, about 50 campers ranging in age from 8 to 16 years old have the chance to live out a unique experience in a secure environment. They enjoy a full week of  activities adapted to their unique needs.

Campers participate in fun, barrier-free activities at camp, like swimming, canoeing, art & crafts, camp fires, music, sports, and much more. All camp programs follow a philosophy that allows participants to define success individually, giving them the opportunity to choose the level at which they challenge themselves.
