Arthritis Society volunteers recognized

In honour of National Volunteer Week, the Arthritis Society is proud to announce the recipients of this year’s Mary Pack Volunteer Awards.

Named after our founder, the awards celebrate the dedication of our outstanding volunteers and the contributions they make to the Arthritis Society and the arthritis community. They recognize volunteers who are true ambassadors of the Arthritis Society’s five core values of integrity, passionate commitment, spirted teamwork, bold innovation and courageous leadership.

“Volunteers are integral to our work at the Arthritis Society. From being a valuable resource to people living with arthritis through our Arthritis Line to helping test products for our Arthritis Ideator Program,  we could not work to extinguish arthritis without the effort of our volunteers,” said Trish Barbato, president and CEO. “On behalf of everyone at the Arthritis Society, I want to congratulate the award winners and thank all of our wonderful volunteers who are making a difference in the lives of the six million Canadians living with the fire of arthritis.”
