Practical self-care tips and peer support for living with arthritis
Join others across Canada for an interactive Arthritis Connections session focused on self-care — because living with arthritis isn’t easy, even on the best days. Prioritizing self-care can help you manage symptoms, build strength, and show up fully for yourself and those who matter most.
To start the session, Mary Dixon Bourque, a registered social worker at the Arthritis Rehabilitation and Education Program (AREP), will share insights on the importance of self-care while living with arthritis. After this short introduction, you’ll break into small virtual groups for peer discussions for an opportunity to connect, share and learn from others who truly understand.
How this session can support you:
- Live Q&A — ask questions and get real-time answers
- Connect with peers who share your experiences
- Learn from peers and gain new perspectives on tips and tricks for self-care
- Insights from volunteers and participants on what to expect from ongoing support groups
- Practical strategies to navigate daily life and relationships with arthritis
