About the Celebrity Roast
Each year, Arthritis Society Canada brings together friends, family and business associates to honour one of their own. The celebrity roastee is a successful, well-known individual, who has had a positive impact on others and the public. This unique dinner features stories about the roastee - of their good work in the community, tales of adventures, and surprises. The nature of a roast is to publicly poke fun at the person, but in a tasteful, good-natured manner. This year, we are honoured to celebrate President and CEO of Lindsay Construction, Cory Bell at the Celebrity Roast, hosted by Steve Murphy.
During the gala event, guests enjoy a three-course meal, the chance to bid on live and silent auctions and mingle with friends old and new. Attendees also hear impactful stories from the Arthritis Society Canada team and a local Arthritis Hero. Funds raised from the Celebrity Roast help to support on-going research, programs, and the search for a cure; they also support Camp JoinTogether - a 6-day overnight summer camp at Brigadoon Village for Atlantic Canadian children living with childhood arthritis.
