Dr. David Robinson

Photography of David RobinsonDr David Robinson is a Rheumatologist and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Manitoba. He runs a clinical practice focusing on complex inflammatory diseases at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. He is also a travelling consultant for Ongomiizwin Health Services at the University of Manitoba and runs regular fly-in clinics to Northern Manitoba and Nunavut. He is currently the Medical Director for Ambulatory Care for the Department of Medicine at the University of Manitoba.

Over the past 20 years, he has had a large role in both undergraduate and postgraduate education in Rheumatology both locally and nationally with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He was the recipient of the 2017 Teacher-Educator Award from the Canadian Rheumatology Association.

In collaboration with his colleagues in Manitoba Dr Robinson is involved in CIHR funded research on the etiology and outcomes of rheumatic disease in First Nations. He is also a member of both the Canadian Scleroderma Research Group and Canadian Network on Research in Vasculitides.
