Why do 7000 Ontarians canvas door to door?

September 1, 2016 | The Arthritis Society
The reason is the 4.6 million Canadians of all ages affected by arthritis, some as young as 2 years old.

Each September, during Arthritis Awareness Month, 7000 passionate supporters across Ontario contribute their time and passion to engage people in their community in a conversation about the impact that this disease can have on people’s quality of life, and the enormous difference that their contributions can make.

The chronic pain and other life altering symptoms of arthritis require special support systems and care services that can enable Canadians with the disease live fulfilling lives. And they depend on The Arthritis Society for such services, and to offer real hope for a future without arthritis. But that support is only made possible through the generous donations of compassionate individuals in our communities.

Would you like to ensure Ontarians living with arthritis lead lives of dignity and independence? Sign up to canvass in your community on our Door to Door Campaign page.
