VoxxCanada.ca: Supporting and improving the lives of Atlantic Canadians with Arthritis.

March 1, 2017

Arthritis is the leading cause of pain and disability in Canada and currently more than 462,000 people live with the disease in Atlantic Canada.

VoxxLife Inc., a young Canadian company, and Founding Managing Director, Dorinda MacIssac, RN, want to join The Arthritis Society in supporting Atlantic Canadians living with arthritis. VoxxLife technology, worn in socks and insoles, aid with symptoms of pain while improving balance and stability. This is symbiotic with The Arthritis Society’s vision of living well while creating a future without arthritis.

From February 1st, 2017 until January 31st 2018, Dorinda MacIsaac as a leader with VoxxLife, is proud to donate a portion of the sales from Voxx Canada to The Arthritis Society, Atlantic Region.

“I believe in offering Canadians options to be healthy and active,” said Dorinda MacIssac, Registered Nurse and Founding Managing Director at VoxxLife Inc. “Pain and instability create fear of moving and without moving, we continue to see a decline in one's physical condition. The opportunity to try alternative treatments pain management is opening up more and more. HTP is one showing impressive results in pain and Families are often seeing changes in quality of life for those wearing the Voxxlife socks and insoles.”

The socks and insoles work by placing technology at the ball of the foot. Nerve-receptors there affect our mid-brain, which recognizes and modulates pain. Simply, the footwear creates effects similar to that of acupuncture or reflexology and can improve balance and stability at a cost ranging from just thirty to forty-five dollars. Best results come from those who use the products as often as possible, including wearing them to bed.

“We’re receiving lots of positive feedback already, and I am so excited to support The Arthritis Society while offering people of all walks of life an improved quality of life,” explained MacIssac.

This is a fantastic opportunity to try a new product and support The Arthritis Society’s mission to search for the underlying causes and subsequent cures for arthritis while promoting the best possible care and treatment for people with arthritis.
