A new program is coming to Summerside: Making “Rheum” for Arthritis

September 1, 2017

No one plans on living with the pain, stiffness, and inflammation of arthritis, but with the diagnosis comes the reality that arthritis will move into all aspects of life.

Cue The Arthritis Society’s newest and exciting program Making “Rheum” for Arthritis funded by The United Way and designed for those living with arthritis in Summerside, their family and friends to meet others facing similar challenges in their community.

Each monthly session will provide insightful discussions and guest speakers who will share tips, lessons and techniques on how to make “rheum” for arthritis in everyday life.

Join us at the Inspire Learning Centre at 57 Central St. this fall to learn about proper nutrition while living with arthritis, the importance of physical activity and movement, and medication.
