A few weeks ago, we received a lovely email written by a young student from Quebec City, 17 year-old Victoria Lavallée. She sent us a school paper on childhood arthritis that she wrote last year. She has a family member who lives with the disease, so as you can imagine, childhood arthritis is an issue that affects her deeply. She wanted to document the lives of teenagers and young adults living with childhood arthritis and show how the disease affects their daily lives. It was also an opportunity for her to raise awareness about the disease among her classmates and teachers.
“I tried to touch on a lot of different aspects without going into too much detail. I want it to be read by as many people as possible.”
Victoria, we give you an A+ !
