6-Week Lifestyle Makeover Challenge in Moncton

May 1, 2017

The Arthritis Society hopes to make positive changes in the lives of people in Moncton and the surrounding area, through the Lifestyle Makeover Challenge. This free, six-week program helps participants build healthier, positive lifestyles and become active self-managers of chronic pain, exercise, nutrition, levels of fatigue and more.

The weekly sessions will take place at Rose Hall, Peoples Park Tower, 360 St. George Blvd, beginning on Tuesday, May 2nd, and will run every Tuesday from 10 a.m. until noon.

The program’s six sessions focus on pain management and action planning, flexibility and problem solving, endurance and dealing with difficult emotions, strength training and nutrition, medication and working with your healthcare team, sleep, fatigue, joint protection and assistive devices. Each interactive session will run for two hours and will feature a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, a pharmacist, a dietitian, a yoga practitioner and more.

We look forward to demonstrating that small lifestyle adjustments can lead to great results.
