Power of the XMAN

A unique partnership between The Arthritis Society and an adventure race company in Quebec  caught the attention of three Canadian Olympians. On the last weekend in May, Mount Sutton – southwest of Montreal – was the backdrop for XMANRACE, an “extreme” challenge that spreads 40 obstacles across a 7-kilometre course.

Lighting up the ‘classroom’

In and around Edmonton, 34-year-old Natalie Harris is helping change lives one class at a time. Harris, four years into a rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis, has led 10 Arthritis Society workshops as volunteer instructor since 2012.
