Role Profile:

Reporting to the Executive Director, Ontario Division and the Executive Assistant, Office of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing critical administrative support to the Executive Director, Ontario Division and the Office of the CEO. The Administrative Assistant is an experienced and sophisticated administrator who is confident, self-motivated, possesses the highest standards of accuracy and maturity of thinking, and is someone who is discreet and a consummate team player. This individual is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is able to balance many competing priorities within a busy office environment.

Required Skills and Experience:

The successful candidate will have a degree or college diploma in administration or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a senior administrative role. A responsive customer service orientation and experience interacting with business leaders, including the Ontario Divisional Advisory Board, is essential. Demonstrated adaptability with a willingness to be flexible, versatile and tolerant in a changing work environment, whilst maintaining effectiveness and efficiency, is necessary. Our ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, sound judgment, has the ability to proactively identify opportunities and problems, and initiate appropriate action as required. A proven track record of consistently achieving goals is required, as are highly effective time management skills, in addition to solid experience in budget and financial tracking. High computer literacy is essential, as is an advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
